The answer depends on the amount of equity available in the home you own. At APCI FCU, we allow a member to have more than one real estate loan secured by a primary or second (non-business) home provided the total amount borrowed is within the loan to value and policy guidelines. You may have a real estate loan on a primary home and a second home (Rental or Primary Home) at the same time provided all other criteria are met. Taking a real estate loan may be beneficial depending on interest rate and repayment terms of both the existing and new loan.
There are several ways you can make a deposit to your Credit Union account.
- APCI eDeposit allows you to take a picture of a check and deposit it using your mobile device. You can access APCI eDeposit through the APCI eBanking Mobile App.
- Account-to-Account (A2A) External Transfers link your external financial institution accounts that you own through APCI eBanking
- If you live near the Credit Union, you can deposit cash or checks over the counter.
- If you have an ATM or Visa® Debit Card, you can locate a deposit taking ATM using our ATM Locator and deposit cash or checks to your Credit Union account using your card.
- You can also mail checks to APCI Federal Credit Union at: PO Box 20147 Lehigh Valley, PA 18002-0147 (checks only – do not send cash).
You can activate and establish a PIN number for your ATM or Visa Debit card by calling 866-985-2273 within the US or 1-513-262-5314 outside the US (international charges may apply).
Yes. The deposit limits are up to $8,000 a day and $15,000 a month per individual membership account. . Check deposits through APCI eDeposit are limited to 25 checks per day, with a maximum of 50 checks per month per individual membership account.
APCI FCU reserves the right to impose, at our sole discretion, limits on the number of deposits you transmit and/or the amount of any one or combined deposits you transmit and may modify such limits from time to time. If you have the need to temporarily increase your daily or monthly limits, please complete our APCI eDeposit Dollar Limit Change Request.
Yes, we offer Purchase Mortgages, Refinance Mortgage Loans, fixed rate Home Equity Loans, and variable rate Home Equity Lines of Credit.
To activate your card and set up a PIN, please call 800-631-3197 or 1-727-540-9434 when outside the US. Be prepared with the primary cardholder's date of birth (mm/yy), zip code, and 3-digit security code (same for each cardholder) from the back signature panel of the card. We encourage you to change the PIN to something easy to remember but difficult for others to identify.
ATM Card cash withdrawal limit is $600 per day. Point of sale limit is $300 per day. Visa Debit Card cash withdrawal limit is $1,000 per day. Point of sale limit is $2,000 per day.
The Credit Union offers several ways to transfer funds. One option is to sign up for APCI ePay, our online bill paying service, to initiate payments to other financial institutions. You can also log in to APCI eBanking and initiate a Domestic Wire Transfer.
If your deposit item is declined, you should call our Member Services Representatives during normal business hours at 800-821-5104. Reasons that deposit items may be declined include ineligible or non-negotiable checks, missing signature or missing endorsement, a stale or post-dated check, poor image quality, daily or monthly deposit dollar amount exceeded, or an unacceptable item.
The Federal Reserve Bank (an institution where all electronic transfers pass through) is closed on federal holidays and therefore a wire transfer cannot be initiated or settled on a federal holiday.
