Credit Union Location Updates
► 6/2/20 – As local businesses plan to re-open in the coming weeks/month, APCI FCU’s leadership team has decided not to re-open our Credit Union lobby at 7201 Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown, PA. Our focus is on planning for our in-person lobby operations to safely resume at our new Credit Union location after our move is complete in late August.
Our phone lines connect you to our Credit Union staff that can assist you during normal business hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am ET – 4:30 pm ET and Wednesday from 9:00 am ET – 4:30 pm ET. The APCI eCU Suite of Electronic Banking Services is available 24/7 and provides you with online tools such as APCIRCUIT® PC Home Banking Service to access your accounts at your convenience, including our mobile app, APCI eMobile, and APCI eDeposit, our mobile check deposit solution.
We appreciate your support of the Credit Union and are looking forward to introducing you to our new location later this summer.
► 3/25/20 – The Credit Union is actively planning a move to our new location, just five minutes away, in late August. Look for more updates this summer. You can now view a video showing the construction progress of our new leased office space that occurred from June 2019 through early March.
► 12/16/19 – Construction continues at the new office location building that will be the future home of APCI Federal Credit Union. The building is now wrapped, and work will continue through the winter season. Updated photos below show the construction progress. The Credit Union plans to move into its new leased first-floor space in late summer or fall of 2020.
► 9/30/19 – Construction is underway at the new office building location that will be the future home of APCI Federal Credit Union. The Credit Union will lease space on the first floor. The photos below show the building construction progress from June – September.
► 6/17/19 – APCI Federal Credit Union has signed a multi-year agreement to lease first floor space to be built at 6126 Hamilton Blvd. next to the Movie Tavern. Groundbreaking for the new office building occurred in mid-May. Below is an architectural rendering of the new building.
► 3/22/19 - APCI Federal Credit Union has entered into negotiations to lease first-floor space within a planned building at Jaindl Commercial Park. This new building will be owned by First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union and is located about one mile east of our current location. At this time, we are planning to relocate our Credit Union branch and supporting operations by the end of calendar year 2020.
► 1/21/19 - We have determined that building a new facility does not fit our current timeline. Therefore, we have chosen a local commercial real estate agent to assist with our search for lease options to support our new Lehigh Valley location. Future updates will be provided as new information becomes available. Thank you.
► 10/12/18 - Our primary sponsor Air Products, owner of our current location, is moving to a new headquarters location during the Summer of 2021. The Air Products Corporate Headquarters (HQ) leadership team has decided not to move the Credit Union to the new Air Products HQ at Mill Creek Road/222 Bypass. This decision was based on many factors, including the increased use of online banking services; space considerations and parking and access/security needs at the new HQ, and the fact that 80% of CU members are not based in the Lehigh Valley and/or access the CU via non-branch contact points.
For those members who visit our Credit Union office: we will remain at our current location until the Air Products HQ move or until your Credit Union moves to its new Lehigh Valley location, which has yet to be decided and will take some time.
For those members who do not visit our office: how you connect with us will not change. Our suite of electronic banking solutions will continue to provide convenient and timely access to your accounts. Our new site selection process will be based on factors such as available locations, member accessibility, change in commute times and location economics.
We are thankful for the nearly 65 years we’ve served Air Products and their families and look forward to many more years of continued partnership. Please continue to visit this web page for future updates.Go to main navigation
